Here’s a recipe for a delicious white chocolate cheesecake:

Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the filling:

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted and slightly cooled
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter for the crust. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even crust. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add the melted white chocolate chips, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Make sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl to incorporate all the ingredients.
  5. Pour the filling over the crust in the prepared pan. Smooth the top with a spatula to create an even layer.
  6. Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  7. While the cheesecake is cooling, prepare the topping by mixing the sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until well combined.
  8. After 10 minutes, spread the sour cream topping over the surface of the cheesecake. Return the cheesecake to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow it to set.
  10. Before serving, carefully remove the sides of the springform pan. Slice and enjoy!
